Business Consultant ERP

As a Business Consultant you help your clients improving their business processes. Think of typical end-to-end processes such as procure-to-pay, order-to-cash or plan-to-make.

In close collaboration with the key stakeholders at client’s side, you map the processes, you identify and analyse areas of improvement, you describe the new or to-be processes. Facilitating workshop is one the many tools you use to make people work as a team, and to gather input and output.

As link between your client and the ERP implementation partner (Microsoft Dynamics 365), you are in charge for follow-up of development of changes in the application. You organise and coordinate testing, done by the key users. You communicate the test results to the implementation partner and make sure rework is done and retested.

Your clients are leading companies in divers industries, like innovative healthcare, automated technology, precision steel processing, lighting solutions, etc. Companies located in Belgium, with international businesses.

In your role as Business Consultant you act as a Mentor for your clients. You understand well the business goals the new ERP (or upgrades) will serve and support.

You won’t be working on your own, of course. You work in co-creation with key stakeholders of the client, and with the implementation partner.

You report frequently to your Project Manager.

Basic

• Master’s degree
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (AX)
• Good process knowledge of business domains (sales, SCM, purchase, production, …)
• 3+ years of experience as business and/or functional analyst 
• Result driven and change management skills
• Leadership experience in small teams
• Very good communication skills (written and oral) 
• Fluent in French and/or Dutch and English

Nice-to-haves

• Certification as Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
• 3+ years of experience as a consultant
• Mastery of Agile or Waterfall methods for project delivery
• Willingness to travel
